Our house spilled on the street
Gutted wooden carcass
Ruined
Our insurance money
Pocketed by a crook
Transformed
Our FEMA house a home
Flowers planted in hope
Through
Our faith in God’s promise
We find hope and courage
Faith
Our rainbow is the church
Baptism in prism
And
Our flowers stretch toward light
Reborn out of water
Love
Our brothers and sisters
Renew us through Christ’s love
